A day of shots!

The lady marking where she would pierce them.
Me checking where she marked to make sure that they looked even.
Just after she pierced that side
End result Kinners was so excited have the same earings as "Baby Paige"

Last Friday was a rough day for my little Paige. She is two months old, so it was time for some shots. She got three shots total. Two in one leg and one in the other leg. She was okay until the third shot and then she had had enough. Then since she was already traumatized and drugged (only Tylenol) We decided to take her and get her ears pierced. Annie wanted to get Mckinley's pierced as well, so to the mall we went! Kinners went first and she did well. She cried, but when she saw them in the mirror she loved them. Paige was sad when we started because she was hungry. Then she screamed when they actually pierced them, and as soon as we got back to the car and I fed her she was fine. She has not seemed bothered by them since. And she looks soooooo cute!

TOTALLY HOOKED!!!!

This past week we were able to go to Lake Powell! This is one of our favorite places on earth! We just love it. Ryan's family has a share on a house boat down there. It is amazing. We are so blessed to be a part of this vacation. The house boat is called Totally Hooked...very fitting for its location. Paige loved the boats and did amazing. Anytime we would take her on the speedboat I would put her in the babybjorn and she would be out in about 10 seconds. (Not to fear her life jacket was sitting right next to me the entire time every ride.) This is a trip that Ryan looks forward to every year. We got there on Wednesday and the first thing he did was wakeboard. On his first run he landed his Raley. I was bummed because I was not in the boat. So I made him go out again. This time he landed it again. It was amazing. Then he went to jump the wake and crashed really hard. As soon as he hit the water I turned to his Dad (who was driving the boat) and said I bet he is hurt. Sure enough, when we got to him, his ankle was throbbing. We think that he has a high ankle sprain. He did this same thing last year only other ankle. He says it feels the same, which is unfortunate because it took forever to heal last time. Butat least he got a few good runs before he was out for the rest of the trip. So the rest of the trip we just watched every one else surf and tube. We had some wicked tube wars. It was a great trip that was made wonderful becuase it was relaxing and we were with family.

Ryan & I bought this water balloon launcher. We launched them at people, wave runners(all from our own group), and ducks. I don't think tat we hit anything, but we came really close.

trying to hit that wave runner! Zac (the one on the wave runner) had a blast picking up the ones tat did not pop and throw them at us.
This is the reason we pulled out the balloon launcher. We could not resist. This was a mountain/rock range across from our house boat. Brian & Nick (Ryan's uncle and cousin) went for a hike. BEWARE!!!!
Aunt Sarah loves Paige!
Self Portrat!!! This was Saturday...Ryan's birthday! Happy Birthday Babe!

So cute! I love this picture because you can see Just how curly Paige's hair is.
Precious! Baby feet are the only feet I love! All others are disgusting!!!!!
The water was a little chilli, so I dipped Paige in really fast, she screamed! then I pulled her out and put her back in and then she loved it.

I think that this is the cutest picture! I am the luckiest girl in the world! Look how cute my family is!
This video is of Ryan's trick! Like I said it is good he landed it a couple of times before he got hurt.

Labor Day

Paige sun bathing minus the sun
Family Photo before we got in the water
This is her favorite position. I truly believe that this must have been how she was in the womb because she lays like this all of the time.
Family photo in the water. I love that she is looking right at the camera! :)
I think that this picture is just precious. her aunt Torrie was holding her and she just looks so content!

Labor day fell on my birthday again this year! We had a blast! First Cassidy and Torrie took us to IHop for breakfast for our birthdays (Ryan's is on the 19th) (We have a tradition with them that every Monday Holiday we go out for breakfast...Always a blast!) Then we went to kid-tokid and they were having a GRAB-BAG event. I filled a bag of girl clothes. When they rang us up they told us the amount that we would have spent...I would have spent $84.00 and Torrie would have spent $124.00. The best part about it was that we each only spent $5.00 what a great deal! After this we went to Seven Peaks. This was my favorite part of the day because it was Paige's first swimming trip and she loved it! After Seven Peaks we went home and went to Tucanons for dinner with Chad and Summer. And over dinner they gave me this beautiful neclace for my birthday and another birthday surprise..they are expecting #2. (so for Ryan and I that means that 4 of our sibling are expecting. Torrie & cassidy are due Nov 5th, Annie & Oliver are due January 27th, Jessica and Beau are due at the end of March and now Chad and Summer are due some time in May.) I could not have asked for a greater holiday and birthday! It was the best!

UPDATE

Life here is wonderful! On Friday Paige was a month old, so to track Paige's growth we decided to take her picture by the same thing each month. So we purchased this Gigantic Bear. He is cute! Paige, however, did not want to have her picture taken. Hopefully in the months to come we will not have this same problem. Ryan is still estimating at Perry Olsen Drywall and he just loves his job and the people he works with. I am doing hair, but I love being a mom WAY more! I just wish I could be home all the time with Paige...I hate to leave her! Ryan and I both get to celebrate our birthdays this month. I feel like I am getting old. I know that 28 is not old, however it is so close to 30 and I always looked at people who were 30 and thought they were old. I guess I could not be in a better place in life while I am getting older! I am so content and happy in this place in life, I do not want anything to change! In about 2 weeks we get to go to Lake Powell (that will be a blog entry for sure). We are very much looking forward to it. Paige's first of many I'm sure. and on Sept 27th we are blessing our little angel! That is about all for us, However the gigantic bear would like a name so if you have any sugestions please let us know!!!
