PICTURE DAY!

I have been so excited to get real pictures of Paige taken and today was the day! Chantelle my sister took these pictures. I just love them and I think that I have the cutest baby in the entire world! Paige was so good during the process...she did get a little fussy but i do not blame her and it makes for some cute pictures! These are just a few of the pictures that Chantelle took. Once she edits the rest and gets them to me I will post more! Having a baby is the best in thing in the world!

Back to work!

Today was my first official day back at the salon. It was really hard for me to leave Paige. I know that Ryan always takes good care of her, but I have never been out of her sight until tonight. It was really good to be back at work! I did realize just how much I love my job! It is great!

LOOK ALIKE?

Paige today
Me in 1981

My mom said from day one that Paige looked exactly like I did when I was born. I believed her to some extent...but then she brought over this picture and I about died! Everyone that has come into our house has asked when we got this picture developed? I just laugh and tell them that it is me 27 years ago. (Just look at that couch in the background...Gotta love it!)

Paige

I am still really new at this whole blog thing...and I ave not quite figured it out. However I am a little bit of a perfectionist and it drives me nuts that My pictures are all crazy in my last couple of blogs, so I am trying this slide show thanks to a few friend that have it on there blogs (thanks to those of you that have them). Tomorrow my baby is already 2 weeks old. Most of you will laugh at that statement, but wow! It seems like she has been a part of our family forever, yet part of me feels like we just brought her home. I have always heard new moms say, "they never thought they could love something, or someone as much as they love their children". I never understood that...However now I do. I can not believe how much love and patience I have for my little Paige! Our lives will never be the same, and I would not have it any other way! It has been so fun watching Ryan with Paige. He is such a great dad, even if every diaper he changes she pees on the changing pad as soon as he moves the old diaper. It is so rewarding to just watch him watch her for hours on end! What can I say I have the best life, husband, and daughter in the world! I love you Ryan & Paige!

These are some pictures that summer took! Thanks Summer!

Tender Moments!

As you can read from my previous post Paige was born on Tuesday July 28, 2009. everything with the delivery went really well. Everything went according to plan. We were scheduled to go home on Thursday morning...when I came down with a kidney infection. So when the Doctor came in the room on Friday morning we were praying that He would release us. He did....however since we stayed an extra night Paige had lost over 10% of her weight. She was born at 7lbs 2oz. and her release weight was 6lbs. 5oz. So we had to go to the Pediatrician the next day (Saturday)to make sure she was maintaining weight. Also her biliruben scores (the score that tests for Jaundice) increased as well so on Sunday we had to go down to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center to retest for it. Well she was not...Saturday she was down to 6 lbs 2oz. She had lost a pound in 4 days. I just cried!!! That is such a hard thing to hear as a mom. Sunday she tested 18 on her billiruben score. That is really high. So tomorrow I get to take her to the pediatrician for another weight check and a jaundice test! Poor thing!!!!! Okay enough ranting...I love being a mom. My precious Paige is wonderful. I love to dress her up! I love to hold her, I love to look at her, to feed her, just everything. Here are some Pictures that we have taken this week! I hope to take some real pics this week. Hopefully more of her clothes will fit her, not even the newborn size fit her. She is so little, but long!
